I Danced The Night Away!

I went to the spring formal at my school last night. There was a lot of food including tacos, potatoes, salad, cake and other stuff. My mom told me that when she was in school that there was not food at the dance. She said my dance was like the ones in the movies and TV shows.

I got to dance with 2 boys. One was in 8th grade and the other one was the principle's son. We had fun dancing and they played a lot of good songs. I think my Top 5 Tuesday will be my favorite songs right now.

Cookies Fit for a Tween!

My mom and I made these cookies together. It was our first time experimenting with royal icing. The icing hardens as it drys and doesn't come off. I helped cut the cookies with the cookie cutter and then helped decorate the cookies by piping on the icing. Then we sprinkled on these cute little x's and o's. We were going to make some other cookies shaped like little footballs for the Super Bowl, but while we were being silly, they were burning up in the oven. We didn't even need to add the brown icing because they were brown when they came out.

Cloudy with a Chance of Snowballs

I had to wait 3 days to build this snowman. On the first day, the snow was too powdery. On the second day, it was only sticky in certain places. So, on the third day, the snow was perfect for snowman building. I built him all by myself.

Who's Team Are You On?

If you like Twilight, then welcome to the club! But, it also depends on whose team you are on. I think both Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattenson are nice looking men, but I think I'd much rather be a vampire than a werewolf...so I'm team Edward.

I went to see New Moon back in November with my family and, I can't wait for the next Twilight movie. I think it comes out in June this year. Leave a comment and let me know if you are for team Edward or team Jacob.

You Can Help Haiti!

Help Haiti! Haiti is suffering from major damage from the severe earthquake. Many Haitians suffer from lack of everyday needs and/or supplies. That is why we as U.S. citizens can help by either texting, YES TEXTING, or donating, or going to Hope for Haiti. And worst of all is the 6.0 aftershock burying more Haitians under all of the rubble. Many people need urgent medical care. People dieing everywhere in Haiti. People being uncovered. Hospitals not big enough for all of the injured Haitians in Haiti. Please HELP HAITI.
